MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to support efforts to provide clean water to people throughout the Horn of Africa that are affected by the ongoing drought in the region. We accomplish this through the sale of umbrellas and other water themed accessories. The cost of each product contains a built in donation that is quantifiable, memorable and easy to understand.

We are proud of our partnership with Oxfam America. They have a long, proven record of rushing emergency aid to those hardest hit by the drought in the Horn of Africa, and also implementing initiatives that help develop livelihoods and infrastructure.

Through photographs, stories and videos we will provide feedback that shows the direct impact of the donations made through your purchases.

Access to clean water is the foundation for healthy living. No one can live without it. We require it for food preparation, cleanliness, sanitation and nutrition. By building a conscious link between protection from the rain and donation of sustainable water, Maji Umbrellas hopes to raise public awareness about this important issue and support efforts to provide this basic human necessity to those who need it the most.
